| 12.20.07 MindWorks Announces Launch of SelectRefresh for SAP Data Replication Software Broomfield, Colo., Dec. 20, 2007 – MindWorks, Inc., a Colorado-based supplier of SAP services, today announced the launch of two SAP data replication software products, SelectRefresh for SAP and SelectRefresh for SAP Basic. Both offerings replicate SAP business data at high speed from production databases as large as 20TB to critical off-line SAP systems. SelectRefresh for SAP, intended for both enterprise and mid-sized companies, intelligently creates a thin client duplicate of real-time data for use in development, quality assurance and training systems. Historically, IT departments have had to copy their full Production database to non-production systems, a process that can take hours or even days, given the massive size of these databases. In the process, staff resources are tied up and critical systems must often be taken off-line, adding significantly to overall data management costs. In fact, industry research has shown that storage and system management costs are typically four to five times the acquisition costs of storage hardware and software. SelectRefresh for SAP Basic, a smaller-scale version of SelectRefresh for SAP, performs a full copy of the Production database, an efficient method for databases smaller than 250GB. SelectRefresh for SAP relies on proprietary AutoDiscovery™ technology to automatically interrogate the underlying table structure of a database—even identifying newer, user-defined “Z tables”—before copying the structure to a client or target system. The table is then rapidly populated with data, creating the thin client, a much smaller but accurate replica of the Production database. SelectRefresh for SAP reduces disk space requirements, improves data integrity, helps to ensure successful upgrades, reduces the need for additional hardware and expedites the building of testing, development and training environments. In addition, it helps improve accountability measures for companies seeking to meet Sarbanes-Oxley compliance goals. “We expect SelectRefresh to benefit our clients immediately,” says Matt Rausenberger, MindWorks’ chief operating officer. “Now developers will be able to quickly migrate up-to-the-moment data from massive Production databases to any and all SAP environments. As a result, our clients will see a significant reduction in infrastructure costs.” On June 15, 2007 MindWorks, Inc. acquired the assets of Minneapolis-based Intrascapes Data LLC, developer of the SelectRefresh software.
