Among First U.S. Companies to Implement SAP’s On-Demand Business Solution, SAP Business ByDesign Broomfield, Colo., Oct. 23, 2007 – MindWorks, Inc. today announced that it is one of the first companies in the U.S. to implement the SAP® Business ByDesign™ solution, the most complete, on-demand business software solution aimed at fast-growing midsize companies. Designed to boost efficiency and productivity in companies with constrained IT resources, SAP Business ByDesign was recently announced globally on September 19, 2007. With the new SAP Business ByDesign solution, companies that have not traditionally considered enterprise business solutions can now enjoy the benefits of a fully integrated application across the business without the burden of acquiring and managing the software and IT infrastructure of a traditional on-premise solution. MindWorks, a fast-growing IT services company based near Denver, Colorado, had previously experienced difficultly performing routine business functions and extracting business intelligence from data stored in a collection of disparate and nonintegrated applications – SalesForce.com, Excel, QuickBooks and others – and sought a single integrated enterprise-wide solution which could create greater efficiency and visibility into business processes and data, without having to perform expensive, custom integrations between their collection of software packages. “Our non-integrated apps were great, but we outgrew them,” said Dan McNerney, CEO of MindWorks. “We’ve seen the good – and the bad – of fast growth.
